Mary Lou is a Senior Proposal Writer and Business Development Specialist with more than 25 years of experience in the engineering industry. She has led countless successful pursuits for major clients, including Metrolinx, CN Rail, Canadian Pacific Railway, and numerous municipalities and agencies across North America. Holding an Honours Diploma in Business Administration and certification in Adobe Creative Cloud, she is also a member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP). Mary Lou brings expertise in proposal writing, project coordination, marketing, and graphic design, consistently delivering high-quality work on time and to standard. 

 Living in Haliburton, Ontario, with her husband Douglas, Mary Lou enjoys the peace of boreal forests and abundant wildlife, which she describes as her “paradise.” She volunteers weekly at Woodlands Wildlife Sanctuary, caring for orphaned and injured animals ranging from foxes and squirrels to owls and deer. Mary Lou is also an avid guitar player and collector, with 12 guitars and a ukulele in her collection. She is a proud mother of three children, grandmother of four, and shares her home with three golden retrievers.
